About My Clients
Do you have difficulties finding joy in your life, not feeling good enough, or feeling disconnected from those around you? My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in a bottom-up perspective, striving to understand what makes each individual unique in their strengths and challenges. My passion for this work is energized by empowering individuals to find healing and enhance their lives into what they wish them to be. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. My undergraduate experience involved working with children, families, and aging populations within hospice care, domestic abuse shelters, and child protection services. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work concentrating on Clinical Mental Health. My graduate experience involved working in an outpatient setting providing individual and group clinical mental health treatment. My approach is to empower individuals and families to use their strengths and resources to grow, heal, and find liberation in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is the opportunity to discover the root of our behaviors, perceptions, and familial patterns. There is so much to understand about how we view ourselves in relation to the world, whether we feel we belong, are loveable, are good enough, or that we can trust other people. It is my passion to help individuals make these connections to their roots and continue or begin the healing it takes to live the lives they are longing for. I believe this is a journey we all take as humans and therapy is an opportunity to have additional support as we learn, change, heal, and grow.
