About My Clients
I specialize in working with young adults and adults, and I have experience working with complex trauma, sexual abuse/assault, personality disorders, eating disorders, body image issues, spiritual/religious abuse, dissociative identity disorders, psychosis, and co-dependency. I use an integrative, client-centered approach in my work.
My Background and Approach
At my core, I’m an existential thinker who enjoys the process of creating meaning in life. My passion is helping clients explore questions in an environment that feels safe and judgement free. With trauma therapy, there’s such beauty when we see a client begin to find hope & light after spending so much time in pain. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University in 2018, and I am currently working on my doctorate at Regent University in Counselor Education and Supervision. I like to incorporate Component-Based Psychotherapy (CBP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Informed Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Culturally Sensitive Therapy.
