About My Clients

My clients are LGBTQ+ folks navigating trauma, identity, and life transitions. Many are exploring gender, coping with dysphoria, or healing from invalidation and complex trauma. They want a therapist who gets it—someone affirming, nonjudgmental, and real. My clients are tired of shrinking themselves and are ready to live more fully, with support from someone who sees and celebrates their whole selves.

My Background and Approach

I'm a gender-affirming therapist who believes healing happens in relationship—when we feel safe, seen, and supported. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and social justice, with a focus on helping LGBTQ+ adults navigate identity, dysphoria, grief, and complex trauma. I integrate person centered work, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to support nervous system healing and self-trust. Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational; I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor to the space. I honor the survival strategies that got you here while helping you build something new. I'm especially passionate about working with folks exploring gender, neurodivergence, and those recovering from harm in medical, religious, or family systems. I show up as a real person in therapy and welcome all the parts of you others may have ignored, judged, or misunderstood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to code-switch, explain your identity, or justify your feelings. I trust that people are the experts of their own lives, and I see my role as helping you reconnect with parts of yourself that have been dismissed, harmed, or hidden. I believe in the power of authenticity, community, and chosen family. Healing doesn’t mean fixing what’s broken—it means tending to what’s wounded and reclaiming your wholeness. I believe our mental health is shaped by systems as much as by stories, and that therapy should honor the impact of oppression, identity, and lived experience. I welcome all parts of you—including rage, joy, numbness, confusion, and hope—and I commit to showing up as a real, imperfect, and caring human in return.
