About My Clients
Do you ever feel stuck as if something was is in your way from truly living your life and experiencing joy? Have you ever felt as though you can never escape your painful experiences? Do life’s stressors feel so overwhelming that you cannot seem to catch your breath? Those who experience traumatic moments in life may face a difficult journey to feel like themselves again. Therapy can be a safe space for you to process your feelings and experiences.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with clients. I have used Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR) with my clients and I am currently finishing up my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I look through the trauma lens and ask the question of "what happened to you?" versus "what's wrong with you?" I believe we all are shaped by what we have gone through and how we responded to certain situations and experiences. Processing these experiences in a safe space is a step closer to your journey to healing. I would love to walk that journey with you.
