About My Clients
I specialize in working with adults and families who are facing the realities of a dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders). My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to actively engage in their own recovery, even if they currently feel overwhelmed, stuck, or hopeless. Whether you are seeking a fresh start after a relapse, trying to heal from a history of complex trauma, or looking for data-driven, neuro-scientific approaches to mental health, my goal is to me
My Background and Approach
My clinical philosophy centers on the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. After transitioning from a successful corporate business career to clinical social work, I dedicated my life to reforming standard behavioral health treatment. I don’t believe in simply masking symptoms with medication; instead, my goal is to uncover the root trauma or biological imbalance driving addictive behavior or emotional distress. By integrating standard psychotherapy with innovative neuro-scientific technology, mindfulness practices, and intensive family counseling workshops, I help clients build a comprehensive foundation for recovery. My approach is deeply collaborative, structured, and entirely personalized to your specific biometric and emotional needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to providing an inclusive, culturally responsive, and safe therapeutic environment for individuals from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ and veteran communities. I believe that systemic barriers, social pressures, and unaddressed generational trauma play a massive role in behavioral health issues. My practice is built on the belief that ethical treatment requires unwavering patient advocacy, transparency, and a total absence of judgment or shame.
