About My Clients
Do you have a hard time feeling good enough? Do you often feel unworthy? Are you struggling to keep up with life's curveballs while juggling past traumas that seem to keep resurfacing? I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate past traumas that manifest into characteristics like anxiety, self-doubt, depression and relationship struggles.
My Background and Approach
I have been an interested helper since I was a young girl, which has since translated into working with real people who are struggling with real-life issues, like you. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. It was shortly after when I realized that I had to fulfill my passion of working one-on-one with people in real time who were experiencing roadblocks preventing them from living a fulfilling life. I then went on to study Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University and have since graduated with a Master's of Science. My overall approach to counseling is collaborative, which means that I acknowledge that you are in the driver's seat for your own treatment. I believe that empathy, genuine connection and a positive relationship are the key ingredients to successful outcomes from counseling. Whether you are seeking treatment for trauma, self-esteem issues or relationship issues, we can work together to improve your quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strive to create a safe space for all who seek treatment with me. This means that I am a safe space for members of different ethnic backgrounds, religions and beliefs. I am also an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and respect all beliefs. Additionally, I can provide faith-based counseling to those who wish to incorporate faith into their treatment goals.
