About My Clients
You might be someone who looks like you're holding it together, but inside feels overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. Many of the people I work with are navigating stress, trauma, emotional swings, grief, or patterns like perfectionism, numbing, or addictive behaviors that no longer feel helpful. I work with adults across Nevada who are ready to slow down, get curious, and understand what's beneath the surface.
My Background and Approach
I'm an LCSW and LCADC, with advanced training in EMDR and IFS, and a trauma-informed yoga teacher. I offer yoga as a standalone practice and as an adjunct to therapy. My approach is body-aware and curiosity-based. EMDR helps process what the mind has been holding onto. IFS helps you understand the different parts of yourself that are working hard to protect you. Somatic work helps your nervous system find its way back to steady. These aren't separate tools. They work together, and so do we. I move slowly and intentionally, meeting you where you are. I believe small shifts matter. You set the pace, we check in often, adjust as needed, and stay curious.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels human on both sides. I bring my whole self to this work: my curiosity, my humor, my Peace Corps years, my Buddhist-influenced practice, and my deep belief that people are not broken. They are doing their best with what they have. My practice is affirming and sex-positive. Love is my language, and that extends to everyone who walks through the door.
