About My Clients
I often work with couples who want to focus on building (or rebuilding) curiosity, communication, and connection. For individuals, I help with self-understanding, grief, identity exploration, and finding ways to feel inspired again.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Johns Hopkins trained psychotherapist whose practice is rooted in trauma work. I began my therapeutic journey working with survivors of intimate partner violence, folks in active addiction, correctional facilities, and families desperately trying to break their generational cycles of emotional suffering. Now, I primarily work with adults and couples who are experiencing big life changes, feeling uninspired in their life, or are trying to navigate the ever-changing terrain of today's world and figure out how to cope with it all. My work is insight-driven, relational, and integrative, helping clients translate self-understanding into meaningful movement rather than staying in endless processing or crisis mode. My clients often come to me looking for clarity, connection, and the space to embrace their authenticity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Empowering and guiding my clients to live, feel, communicate, and connect authentically with themselves and others is the cornerstone of my practice. I emphasize the importance of a strong therapeutic connection and a commitment to grow and heal. My office is an affirmative and safe space to explore current or past issues that are impeding your ability to feel joy and satisfaction within yourself, your career, and your relationships. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, your relationships, and your life. I'm here to help guide you towards feeling more satisfied and fulfilled in all of these areas. Life is just as much about learning as it is about unlearning.
