About My Clients
I work especially well with women who feel overwhelmed by cultural expectations, relational pressures, perfectionism, burnout, and the invisible labor they often carry. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning - yet internally exhausted, self-critical, or questioning their worth. I have pursued specialized training in ADHD in women, including late diagnosis and how symptoms often present differently than traditional models suggest.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to helping people grow, heal, and create meaningful change in their lives. I earned my Doctorate of Psychology in 2015 from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology and have worked across diverse clinical settings, including hospice care, forensic and correctional systems, juvenile justice, and group homes. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the powerful ways systems and relationships impact mental health. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in client-centered care. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, direct, and nonjudgmental space where we can explore patterns, process experiences, and build tools that align with your values and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is a safe space for individuals to explore their true authentic selves without fear of judgment or reprisal. When we are provided that space, we truly have the capacity to learn about ourselves in a way that may not be possible in other settings. Here, you can learn to release the weight you may be carrying. I am happy to help carry that weight. I believe that all groups deserve to be treated with respect and openness. I believe the therapeutic relationship is critical to growth and healing. I am honored to provide that to the clients I serve. I have done my own work in therapy, and I know how intimidating and overwhelming that first step can be (even as a psychologist!). I believe in using humor when appropriate, as well as giving my clients the space to feel whatever they need to feel with me.
