About My Clients
I work with teens, adults, older adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are navigating life's challenges and seeking a supportive space for healing and personal growth. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or the emotional impact of trauma. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of New England. My professional experience spans medical, community, correctional, and telehealth settings, allowing me to work with individuals from many different walks of life and understand the unique challenges they face. Throughout my career, I have supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, caregiving stress, chronic illness, relationship concerns, trauma, and significant life transitions. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of their background, identity, life experiences, or current circumstances. Therapy should be a safe and inclusive space where individuals feel accepted, heard, and valued exactly as they are. I recognize that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I honor the unique strengths, challenges, and perspectives each person brings into the therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I view my role as a supportive partner rather than someone who has all the answers. I believe meaningful growth occurs through collaboration, curiosity, and self-discovery. My goal is to help clients identify their strengths, increase self-awareness, and develop tools that support lasting change. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+-affirming, and trauma-informed care that respects each individual's lived experience. I believe that hope, resilience, and healing are possible at every stage
