Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is one of the evidence-based modalities I use for treatment of depression. This framework includes exploring your values, what is important to you in life, and how to make adjustments and take action to live life according to your values, ultimately providing more meaningful experiences for you.

With training in integrative somatic therapy, I can utilize somatic techniques to help you understand your nervous system responses and take a mindfulness-based approach to treatment of anxiety. I also have advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which can be utilized to desensitize and reprocess anxiety triggers.

I am trained in EcoTherapy through The Earthbody Institute. EcoTherapy incorporates the healing benefits of nature into therapy, whether therapy is indoor, outdoor, or virtual. When practicing EcoTherapy, I encourage and help promote a reciprocal relationship with the land, which means we will care for the land around us to support the healing of the earth, which will contribute to improved health and wellbeing for ourselves and others.

I have advanced training in EMDR and utilize this approach to help clients heal from distressing or traumatic experiences, whether they occurred decades ago, in the recent past, or are current and ongoing. I also utilize EMDR to treat other conditions such as anxiety, panic attacks, and more.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a wonderful approach for clients who are feeling disconnected from themselves, others, or the world. Utilizing ACT in therapy, I will help you explore your values and become more flexible in your thinking, ultimately allowing you to live a more meaningful life aligned to what is important to you.
