About My Clients

I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals. My expertise is in depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and trauma, interpersonal issues and women's issues. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I provide a safe, validating environment for us to explore personal issues linked to gender, sexuality, race, and other issues related to identity and systemic oppression. We can work together to explore your unique experience through validation and empowerment.

My Background and Approach

I provide counseling/psychotherapy services to teens and adults who experience stressors relating to anxiety, mood disorders (such as depression), life transitions, self-esteem, and relationships with self and others. I am passionate about empowering and encouraging my clients through a collaborative approach. My approach is Person-Centered. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into an eclectic style that is tailored to each clients’ unique needs and goals. I facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions. I tailor the counseling sessions based off of each clients’ unique needs and goals. Empathy, compassion, and being nonjudgmental toward feelings and experiences are at the foundation of every session. We will collaboratively work together to reduce distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are affecting your life, and explore healthy coping strategies to promote positive change.
