About My Clients

My clients are often highly capable, reflective adults who function well outwardly but feel internally strained, disconnected, or stuck in long-standing patterns. Many are professionals, caregivers, or leaders navigating burnout, neurodivergence, trauma histories, or complex relational dynamics. They are seeking depth, clarity, and sustainable change rather than quick fixes, and value a collaborative, insight-oriented therapeutic process.

My Background and Approach

I am a board-certified psychotherapist with nearly twenty years of experience across healthcare and mental health settings. I hold national credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). My training includes a Doctorate in Health Science and a CACREP-accredited master’s degree in counseling. I am licensed in California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada, and I provide virtual therapy to clients residing in Pacific Time Zone states. My clinical work focuses on neurodivergence, trauma, attachment patterns, and relational challenges. I integrate attachment theory, person-centered therapy, and emerging research in epigenetics to support meaningful, long-term change. I am certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS #950449) and incorporate nature-based and experiential practices when clinically appropriate.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the complexity of each individual’s experience. People are shaped not only by personal history, but also by relational, generational, and systemic influences. Healing does not require fixing what is “wrong,” but developing deeper understanding, self-trust, and flexibility in how one relates to themselves and others. I value inclusive, affirming care and approach therapy with curiosity, transparency, and care. My goal is to provide a grounded, thoughtful space where clients can explore patterns, clarify values, and create changes that feel both authentic and sustainable.
