About My Clients
Clients who seek me out as support on their journey are often experiencing anxiety, mood disruptions, stress, life transitions, spiritual questioning/emergence, relational issues, and may have a history of trauma. I've also worked with clients who are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, creative, and beginning to explore their upbringing. Together we'll take a gentle road towards your healing and reconnect to your inner knowing.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy through a holistic, trauma-informed, and depth-oriented lens. What this looks like is holding space for all of you including your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. We'll move through our time together gently and with care. We'll also look at how your unconscious makes itself known in daily life. We might do this by exploring dreams, symbols, or meaningful coincidences. I often draw on art therapy techniques, mindfulness, and emotional and somatic processing. My approach is gentle, curious, and nonjudgemental. Work with children (8-12) and younger teens is child-centered, trauma-informed, and focused on play and the beginning stages of deeper exploration. Child work is collaborative and requires caregivers to be active participants. As a near-death experiencer, I also hold special interest in exploring and integrating NDE, OBE, and mystical experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm personally aware of the systemic and oppressive systems that have long harmed and continue to harm us as individuals, our communities, and the world. I will acknowledge that hurt, your hurt, in our work together. Sometimes all we can do is survive to fight another day, but I believe healing is possible and as an individual begins their healing journey so does their community.
