About My Clients
Specialties: Substance use disorders, personality disorders including Borderline Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, PTSD including abuse, neglect, and trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, survivors of sexual violence, and intimate partner violence. I believe in trauma-informed treatment and affirming of all identities, including LGBTQ+. I am experienced working with both survivors, as well as partners who have acted harmfully in relationships.
My Background and Approach
I utilize evidence-based treatments including: Dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relational, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based, attachment-based, motivational interviewing, and body awareness. I work collaboratively with my clients, meeting them where they are, to reveal and dismantle the mechanisms that inhibit healthy and meaningful relationships with others, and most importantly, within themselves. I believe in individualized healing; that no two people are the same but we learn from each others stories. We will decide together what works best for you to improve your quality of life, health, and wellness. I hold my clients’ stories with warmth and empathy as we process through pain and move towards healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a huge animal lover, and believe animals can be very therapeutic and healing. In my personal life, I'm involved with the important cause of overdose awareness, as well as helping those struggling with substance use disorder to gain the tools they need to achieve sobriety. I believe in raising awareness and eliminating the stigma of addiction.
