About My Clients
I work best with individuals who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives. I have an integrative style that tends to be nondirective. My approach is process-oriented, emotion-focused, and relational because I believe that lasting change happens not only through insight, but through the experience of being deeply understood in a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship. My clinical practice is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to create an environment where every part of you is welcome—the parts you are proud of, the parts you struggle with, and the parts you may not yet fully understand. We will approach those experiences with curiosity instead of judgment, compassion instead of shame, and honesty instead of avoidance. Through that process, you'll have the opportunity to build a deeper relationship with yourself and create meaningful, lasting change. I have a particular interest in helping adult clients understand how family-of-origin experiences continue to shape their relationships, emotions, and sense of self. I also have experience using a harm reduction framework working with individuals navigating substance use concerns. I have worked with many LGBTQIA+ individuals and am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care. As a WPATH certified provider, I can provide documentation for individuals seeking gender-affirming surgical procedures.
