I specialize in relationship/communication issues, trauma, emotion regulation, stress management, and life transitions. I am passionate about guiding you toward building self-worth, establishing boundaries, and exploring self-defeating patterns. With advanced training in many evidence-based therapy modalities together, we gently explore your experiences. We will collaboratively shape a unique plan to guide you towards healing and growth.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping people just like you. I utilize and integrate evidence-based practices to help clients reduce distressful symptoms. Among many of the theoretical concepts, I am trained in, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as several others to tailor an approach that meets your specific needs. I am direct and solution focused. And client's generally start to feel relief within the first few sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold a strong belief in the potential for growth and transformation within every individual, regardless of their stage in life. I see human capacity as boundless, with ample room for expansion and evolution. Often, our mental health struggles stem from learned behaviors that are harmful, acquired throughout our journey. But this means, too, that we possess the power to unlearn these patterns and embrace healthier ones. I believe in the strength and resilience of the individual, and know that with some guidance and support, finding the best life has for us is within reach.
