About My Clients
I help adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and self-doubt. Many of my clients are high-functioning but emotionally drained—struggling silently with stress, perfectionism, or loss of motivation. Whether you're navigating a tough season or seeking long-term healing, I offer a space where you can breathe, feel safe, and take steps toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University. With 7 years of experience, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), and trauma-informed care. Therapy with me is warm, supportive, and action oriented. We'll explore what’s getting in the way of your peace and create practical steps toward growth. Whether you're struggling with racing thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or the weight of chronic illness, I’ll help you build tools that bring relief and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcomed—your culture, your values, your faith, your struggles, and your hopes. As a woman of Jamaican heritage and Christian faith, I bring cultural humility and spiritual sensitivity into my practice, offering faith-based care when welcomed. I’m passionate about helping people break generational patterns and reclaim their voice. I support social justice efforts that uplift marginalized communities and believe mental health is a right, not a privilege. I value honesty, curiosity, compassion, and authenticity in and outside of the therapy room. My goal is to walk alongside you—not ahead of you—with respect for your story and a deep belief in your capacity to heal and grow.
