About My Clients
I’m passionate about working with people who want a deeper, more caring connection with themselves. I specialize in gender identity, relationships of all kinds, and breaking cycles of generational trauma. I tend to connect most effectively with folks who are trans, queer, kinky, college students, recent graduates, transitioning into middle aged, artists, nonmonogamous, neurodivergent, witchy, and/or spiritually inclined.
My Background and Approach
I’m a queer, transmasculine, white therapist and a first-generation American with German immigrant parents. I live with chronic illness and have neurodivergent traits, which deeply shape how I understand care, pacing, and survival in the world. I feel most alive and grounded through nature, art creation, being outside in a body of water and spending time with my community. My clinical background includes a strong focus in trans and queer mental health, life adjustments and relationships. My style is relational, exploratory, and collaborative—I’m not a blank slate or an “expert,” but a real person in the room. I’m direct without imposing an agenda, and I draw from mindfulness, somatic therapy, parts work, harm reduction, creative practices, and non-conventional approaches like tarot and nature-based work, all grounded in an every growing and learning ethical and decolonizing practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Returning to our bodies, embracing our whole selves and being able to safely unmask are radical acts in the face of oppressive systems. I do this work because I believe in the interdependent nature of individual and collective healing. When we experience healing, we become better equipped to support the healing of others. I do not view suffering as something that requires pathologizing. I contextualize client experiences within systems of power and oppression and deeply believe in and care for my clients unconditionally.
