About My Clients
Has your relationship with your partner become distant? Do you feel like no matter what you say or do, everything leads to an argument? You try to reconnect with them, but all attempts fail. By this point, rejection has become hard to deal with; therefore, neither of you engages with the other. The resentment of the unspoken hurt starts to build until someone finally has had enough. Although its hard to admit, it takes courage to restore and evolve your relationship.
My Background and Approach
I provide a space where you can reconnect and create a relationship that is uniquely yours. I prioritize joining with couples and black males by understanding who they are without jumping to immediate solutions for the identified problem. I believe that therapy works from the inside out. Therefore, my goal for therapy is to create new emotional experiences by promoting growth, enhancing individuation, and increasing the emotional awareness of couples and black men.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that small steps lead to big changes. Seeking therapy is the first step to creating the life you want. Each individual and couple needs support when experiencing a difficult situation. I remember the hesitation I felt during my first session; I wondered if the person would understand my pain? Would I even be able to communicate how I was feeling? Through my experience, I’ve learned that it takes courage, strength, and vulnerability to seek assistance. Therefore, I chose to create a space that invites and celebrates the diversity .
