About My Clients
Infertility, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, traumatic or unexpected birth story, postpartum depression and anxiety… This is probably not how you imagined your journey into motherhood would take shape. If you reading this, then know you are in the right place and I'm here to walk with you through this transition, one step at a time.
My Background and Approach
I’m a psychotherapist with a passion and commitment to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, one that fosters growth, healing and connection in the lives of the individuals and couples that I see. I have walked my own life transitions, some with grace and some with a stumbling step. I believe we are all a work in progress, from the day we’re born to the day we die. I have personally battled my own journeys in infertility and pregnancy loss, as well as weight management and body positivity. I will never overpower your personal experiences with my own, but I believe there is value in knowing that your therapist can humbly relate to those experiences. My own experiences were my driving force to seek out extensive post-graduate training in infertility and pregnancy loss. Additionally, I have expanded trainings that hone in on relationship dynamics, including ENM relationships, polyamory and the kink-community.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I tell every client that I work with that I work just as hard as you do. I treat our time together as a relationship in and of itself. I am warm yet direct, and pretty interactive in session. I truly care about each person that I see, so please know you will be treated with dignity and respect. I value diversity and intersectionality and humbly know that we will likely learn and grow from each other during the therapeutic process. I know how difficult it can be to take that first action step of asking for support. I commend you for getting here today.
