About My Clients
You’re someone who holds a lot. You show up for others, stay strong when things get heavy, and often carry responsibilities that don’t always get seen or acknowledged. On the outside, you may look like you have it together—but internally, you’re navigating anxiety, emotional exhaustion, overthinking, or the weight of past experiences that still show up in your present life. I work best with adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and move beyond survival mode.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) with specialized experience in trauma-informed care. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of domestic and sexual violence. My background spans both clinical and advocacy settings, allowing me to understand not only your internal experiences, but also the environmental and relational factors that influence your healing. My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. As a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional, I utilize evidence-based strategies to help you better understand anxiety, reduce overwhelm, and regain a sense of control. I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic and mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation and thought awareness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the core of who I am—both personally and professionally—is a deep belief that healing is possible when people are given space to be fully seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I don’t believe in “fixing” people. I believe in helping individuals reconnect with their wholeness, even in the presence of pain, trauma, or uncertainty. My work is rooted in compassion, accountability, and truth. I value authenticity—not just in my clients, but in myself. That means I show up as a real person in the room: present, engaged, and grounded. I am not here to be distant or clinical in a way that feels cold or disconnected. I am here to walk alongside you, to support you, and to help you navigate what feels heavy with clarity and intention. I strongly believe in the power of culturally responsive and affirming care. As a Black woman, I understand the importance of having a space where you don’t have to explain your identity, your experiences, or the layers of stress that come with navigation
