About My Clients
In my humble opinion, there is no such thing as an ideal client. Essentially as a human being who takes pride in assisting other human beings through some of the most vulnerable times in their lives, I accept everyone for who they are. I want to be transparent in the understanding that I humanly can not be competent in every area of human condition and experience, but I do promise to give my deepest understanding and support in allowing individuals to be themselves and heal in a healthy manner.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping people. Overall, I typically take a direct and solution focused stance in therapy; however I want to be clear that I am always in awareness of where the client may be in their journey and what they want for themselves. In working collaboratively with clients, I like to maintain a strong therapeutic relationship immerse in empathy, camaraderie, and honesty. In choosing me to be your therapist I will make an intentional emphasis to connect with you in a healthy way. For example, typically upon beginning sessions I like to primarily focused on childhood experiences, yet still make space for current events. In getting to have more authentic insight into your past life experiences as well as your present life, I try to create a healthy balance in being trust worthy and understanding in how to navigate a client and provide them with detailed and inclusive cared tailored specifically for you
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs are based on my perspective that every human is valuable and worthy irregardless of what you may have been through over the course of your life. Unapologetically, I want to be transparent in the idea that as therapists, we do not fix clients, we give you the tools to help fix and maintain your own life in a healthy manner. The famous philosophical quote that comes to mind is "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, but give a man a fish a he will eat for a lifetime". In my passion as a therapist, I am constantly looking for ways to help clients become self sustainable and more trust worthy or themselves and the person they want to develop themselves into over time.
