About My Clients
I support children, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, and school stress. My ideal clients seek a safe, culturally responsive space to build emotional skills and strengthen communication. I offer sliding-scale options to increase access and collaborate with caregivers and educators to support youth across home, school, and community settings.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting children, teens, and families through trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and school-related stress. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care that honors each client’s lived experience. I integrate CBT, play-based strategies, and caregiver collaboration to help youth build emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and feel safe in their healing process. I also work closely with educators and school teams to ensure continuity of support across home and school environments. Sliding scale options are available to increase access for families. Clients describe me as calm, grounded, and easy to talk to — sessions are structured but flexible, always focused on real-world growth and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every young person deserves access to safe, culturally responsive care that honors their identity, lived experience, and resilience. As a bilingual clinician, I offer services in English and Spanish to support families in the language that feels most comfortable and empowering. My work is rooted in trauma-informed values, social justice, and authentic collaboration with caregivers and schools. I stand with movements that promote equity, healing, and community care — including racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and accessible education. My practice reflects these values in every session, resource, and partnership.
