About My Clients
You have an idea for how you would like your life to look, but you just can’t seem to get there right now. There is something keeping you stuck- maybe it’s your confidence, your past, a current relationship, a toxic job, not having the right coping skills, self-doubt, or something else. I want to do my very best to help you. Let’s work to change anxiety into awareness; self-sabotage into self-love; and self-doubt into self-assurance.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health clinician and personal development coach. I have worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, age groups, and diagnoses work through trauma, community violence, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and so forth. I work form a holistic approach to help my clients through their journey utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness. We will use a solution-focused approach during our weekly sessions to address your concerns and progress. I am honored to work with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy has to go beyond the walls of the office. I do my best to help clients use strategies and conversation in their everyday lives because that is vital to the process of change. I also don't ignore the impact of inequity that occurs in individuals' lives and thus believe it is essential to use a social justice-informed approach to help clients navigate these difficulties that can significantly impact a person's overall well-being. In doing this work, I focus on the whole person (mental health, physical health, spiritual health) while providing the tools, support, and strategies clients can use to create effective or positive change in their lives.
