About My Clients
You show up, get things done, and keep it together- but underneath, you’re tired. You feel unseen, disconnected, or like you’re performing a version of yourself just to get through the day. Maybe your relationships feel strained, or you’ve lost touch with what you need. You want to feel more grounded, more like you. If that’s where you are right now, I’m here to help you sort through it and start creating real, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master’s degree and a passion for helping people get real with themselves and their relationships. I work with individuals and couples using a warm, collaborative, and exploratory approach. My style blends depth with direction, drawing from attachment theory, EFT, narrative therapy, CBT, family systems, the Gottman Method, and experiential work. I’m EMDR-trained and help clients process traumatic memories and reduce their impact on daily life. As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I use this gold-standard tool to help couples see what’s working, what’s stuck, and what’s next. I got into this work because I know what it’s like to carry a lot inside while looking “fine” on the outside. You don’t have to keep doing that. In therapy with me, you’ll find a space to lay it down, face it honestly, and build something stronger in its place.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships- and that insight, when paired with compassion, can lead to real and lasting change. I see people as inherently resilient, even when they feel stuck or disconnected. My work is grounded in values like authenticity, curiosity, boundaries, and humor. Outside the therapy room, I’m an avid reader, music lover, and firm believer in self-care that’s actually enjoyable. One of my favorite coping tools? Asking Siri to play some ’90s R&B and letting the nostalgia do its thing. I also love to travel- it keeps me grounded and reminds me how expansive life can be. I bring my full, human self into this work because I know that real connection happens when we stop performing and start showing up as we are.
