About My Clients
I work with individuals who are eager to explore trauma, grief, and identity and who are interested in holistic and transformative healing. As someone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I enjoy providing therapeutic, affirming therapy to this community. I am comfortable working with individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma and those who struggle with anxiety, depression, and grief and loss.
My Background and Approach
My drive to become a social worker was born out of an attraction I have always had for human resiliency and a deep-rooted belief in the power of community, social justice, and connection in healing. My theoretical approaches include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy-informed interventions, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, and EMDR. I also provide Psilocybin Assisted Therapy in Oregon and Colorado, and psychedelic-assisted preparation and integration therapy. I am in the process of becoming a Ketamine Assisted Therapy provider.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans have a tremendous capacity to heal. I believe in trauma-informed approaches, decolonial practice, and psychological safety. I honor consent and client autonomy. As a social worker, I believe strongly in the principles of social justice.
