About My Clients
I provide therapy to individual, group, couples and family therapy sessions to those who are experiencing life’s stressors, including issues with addictions, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and schizophrenia. Additionally, I assists clients who are struggling with losses, relationships, stress, anger and self esteem.
My Background and Approach
I am certified in Grief Recovery Method, a training designed specifically to assist individuals who wish to heal and cope with loss through group and individual counseling. I am also trained in assisting clients who have symptoms of trauma, utilizing Trauma-Informed Treatment Protocol to assist clients in addressing and coping with trauma, in addition to utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which further alleviates symptoms and emotional distress resulting from disturbing life experiences. My theoretical orientation is an integrative approach which incorporates humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral ideologies. This allows me the flexibility to give individualized care for clients. This integrative approach is an opportunity for the client to explore his or her own thoughts and feelings in a safe environment, while exploring the root causes of their core beliefs and learning to challenge them, develop healthy coping tools and of empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Let’s work together and help you live your best life and accomplish goals you set out for yourself. My goal is to provide you with a safe and calm (with sprinkles of humor) environment that will allow yourself to speak freely and overcome barriers. I’m here for you and it is my commitment to come alongside, challenge, and encourage you to be physically, mentally, and emotionally equipped to deal with life stressors, while also developing a deeper understanding of one’s self.
