My Background and Approach
I bring authenticity, presence, and warmth to our sessions; the cold clinical stereotype just doesn’t fit my way of being! I’m what they call “relational,” meaning that I recognize the profound impact of relationships on our lives, including the one we’ll build together. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and childhood patterns influence your present, recognizing that while these patterns may have once served you, they may no longer be in your best interests in the here and now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy, in my view, is a transformative experience that offers a fresh perspective on yourself and your relationships with others. It’s an opportunity to rediscover your authentic self. So many of our experiences in life lead us to hide behind masks or pretend to be someone we aren’t to please or to impress, or to avoid hurt or rejection… a problem only multiplied by social media. Our work together aims uncover the real you, encouraging you to embrace your true identity without fear or shame. Therapy is actually one of the few professions specifically dedicated to unraveling self-deception; in this space, you can truly be your authentic self. Who are you, then, beneath the societal pressures, family expectations, and the masks you wear? Well, those are good questions. Let’s get started trying to answer them.
