About My Clients
I specialize in helping children, adolescents, adults, and seniors facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, ADHD, insomnia, mood disorders, trauma, and panic attacks. My approach is client-centered, ensuring each individual receives personalized, compassionate care that empowers them to take charge of their mental well-being.
My Background and Approach
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I have dedicated my career to delivering high-quality mental health care. With extensive experience at reputable institutions across New York and Washington, D.C., I have refined my skills in psychiatric assessments and treatment planning. My work spans psychotherapy centers in the Bronx and emergency departments within the Northwell Health System. I specialize in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, insomnia, and trauma. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotionally focused, humanistic, and person-centered care, ensuring each patient receives the individualized support they need.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that mental health care should be as unique as the individual receiving it. My practice is rooted in compassion, self-awareness, and empowerment, guiding clients to understand themselves and their mental health. I do not believe in simply prescribing medication without exploring the deeper factors affecting well-being. Instead, I focus on self-compassion and kindness, helping clients develop strategies to navigate life’s challenges. My culturally sensitive and holistic approach ensures that every client feels heard, valued, and supported in their journey toward mental wellness.
