About My Clients
I predominantly work with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially trans* and gender expensive folks. I have in depth experience working with clients with chronic illness, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender affirming care, medical anxiety, and identity exploration.
My Background and Approach
Whether you have more questions about yourself than answers, you have spent years editing yourself and shrinking your desires, or you carry the quiet exhaustion of living in a world that offers too little care, I am here to hold space for your needs. My style is conversational, collaborative, and led by consent. Always at your pace, I will walk alongside you with curiosity instead of judgement. I invite you to bring any parts of you that want to be held, even if they feel contradictory, raw, unfinished, or too much. No theory holds more weight than your words and experiences, but I approach this work through an intersectional lens informed by critical race, queer, abolitionist, and feminist theory. Depending on your needs, I incorporate mindfulness, narrative, somatic, relational, art, and EMDR therapy. With that said, my approach to therapy is about honoring you first.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I found my voice as an advocate, organizer, educator, artist, and therapist by following the joyous liberatory resilience of my community in times of difficulty. I would be honored to help you find your voice in whatever manner that means to you.
