About My Clients
My clients are youth, individuals, and families. I have experience in supporting folxs that are navigating the child welfare, criminal and juvenile legal systems. My specialty is interpersonal violence (family, sexual, dating/teen, intimate partner, stalking, etc), hate crimes, human trafficking. I also support advocates, professors, and other social workers with developing intentional wellness (self care) plans, personal experiences of interpersonal violence, and also yoga!
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years experience working as a social worker, professor, international experience in service advocacy, professor, researcher, non-profit manager, and anti-violence organizer. I incorporate principles from CBT to support perspective, and trauma informed frameworks to support processing and healing space cultivation. We can chat on podcasts, reference a book chapter, practice breathing techniques, and pull self empowerment cards.
