About My Clients

I work with individuals who struggle with trauma associated with their family, religion, or culture. I also work in issues related to mood disorders, breakups, stress, and political and societal concerns. During our initial sessions, we will talk about the issues at hand, and work together to develop a plan to address and manage your concerns.

My Background and Approach

Together we'll build insight into your patterns, wounds, and how systems may impact mental wellness. It’s my job to see what does work for you, and it’s important that I remain adaptable in how I work with my clients. Techniques may change and evolve but these this will remain true: my practice is one that will see you authentically, and challenge you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Beyond my traditional education, it is imperative that I engage in my community with critical and politicized. As a Palestinian American Muslim, who also happens to be a therapist, I have a responsibility to ensure that my therapy practice is socially conscious. Mental health concerns stem from larger systemic issues including (but not limited to) capitalism and colonialism. My practice will always be a safe place for muslims, indigenous people, and all oppressed peoples.
