I believe that growth and awareness are often achieved in the most difficult, uncomfortable, and challenging moments of our lives. Unfortunately, these are also the moments which can cause us to feel the most isolated and alone, leading us to feel a sense of hopelessness and at times even worthlessness. How we choose to cope and who we choose to have around as we learn to cope can be vital to our growth. So, why not have a guide who can create a safe space to facilitate the process for growth.
My Background and Approach
Being a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), allows me to collaborate with individuals who struggle with disordered eating patterns and body image concerns through a variety of modalities including Health at Every Size (HAES). As an EMDR trained therapist I also work with individuals with anxiety, depressive and trauma related symptoms. Our work together will be collaborative and built around treatment plan we create to meet your needs. Guided discovery will help us explore and identify how behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and actions impact your daily living and relationships. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental place to allow for growth and exploration. I look forward to working with you!
