My Background and Approach
As a double board-certified practitioner in medicine and psychiatry, I am acutely aware of the impact of mental health on overall wellbeing. I leverage my background in critical care, preventative care, surgery and psychiatry to provide an evidence-based and results-oriented holistic approach catered to each individual. My specialties include, but are not limited to, treating and managing ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, stress management, adjustment disorders, and OCD. I combine medication management sessions with individual psychotherapy to achieve optimal results in a culturally sensitive and emotionally safe space for the client. My treatment plans are developed in conjunction with the client to provide focused care aimed at encouraging personal growth and development.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand that life can be challenging, and we all face stress and setbacks at times. However, I believe that every person has unlimited potential, and with the right guidance and support, anyone can reach their best self. Having personally struggled with anxiety and panic attacks since my early teens, I know how overwhelming it can be. Through my own exploration of alternative treatments, practices, and medication, I was able to overcome my condition and find peace.
