About My Clients
I draw on experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. My practice is rooted in gender- and sexuality-affirming therapy, with a focus on LGBTQ individuals, asylum seekers, those processing grief and loss, and professionals seeking guidance. I support clients in navigating identity, emotional challenges, and patterns that impact relationships and well-being. This is a space where your full self is welcomed, valued, and supported.
My Background and Approach
As a member of the LGBTQ community, my personal and professional path has been deeply rooted in social justice and human rights. I’ve been providing individual psychotherapy since 2020, with clinical experience spanning community mental health and private practice. From 2020 to 2025, I worked at The Center, a space dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ community across the spectrum of identity and lived experience. I began offering private therapy in 2023, where I continue to center care that is affirming, culturally attuned, and socially conscious. Social justice and cultural competency are not just values—they are integral to how I show up in the room. My therapeutic style is exploratory, process-oriented, and grounded in relational and psychodynamic frameworks. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe enough to question, unpack, and ultimately reclaim their most authentic selves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an active member of the LGBTQ+ community and a passionate advocate for social justice, equity, and accessible mental health care. My work is grounded in a commitment to anti-oppressive practices and cultural humility, both within and outside the therapy room. I am deeply attuned to the intersections of identity, mental health, and systemic harm, and I approach my work with a profound respect for the unique experiences of each individual. Additionally, I am ecologically conscious and believe that sustainability is integral to both individual and collective well-being. These values guide how I engage with others—through curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person's lived journey.
