My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and solution focused. I like to use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy through a gentle, but challenging approach digging dipper to past traumas, understand you better, moving towards identifying strength and healing. At times you will feel overwhelmed and challenged However, you will feel heard, validated, understood & supported as well, in the journey to regain control of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Many mental health challenges can stem from early trauma, unhealthy life patterns, substance use, or overwhelming feelings of shame and guilt. The hopeful truth is that trauma can be processed and healed, and the patterns we’ve learned can be unlearned and replaced with healthier, more empowering ones. I deeply believe that every person has the capacity to change and grow at any stage of life. Human nature—and especially the mind—holds a remarkable ability to heal when the right conditions are present.
