About My Clients
My ideal clients feel stuck or overwhelmed, knowing they’re capable of more but unsure how to get there. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, or trauma and want more than symptom relief, they want lasting change. Many are high-functioning yet drained, seeking balance, clarity, and purpose. Whether veterans, first responders, or civilians, my clients value honesty, collaboration, and practical tools to help them feel grounded, capable, and aligned with the person they strive to be.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychologist with experience across inpatient, community, and school-based settings, as well as specialized training in performance psychology. My background includes working with veterans, first responders, and high-achieving individuals who face unique stressors in demanding environments. I draw from evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, blending them with performance and resilience principles to help clients strengthen focus, manage stress, and improve emotional control. My style is collaborative, practical, and supportive — I aim to help clients gain insight, build effective coping skills, and translate that growth into real-world confidence and balance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel practical, respectful, and focused on growth. People do their best when they feel understood, not judged. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to uncover strengths, clarify goals, and build strategies that support lasting change. Real progress happens when insight meets action, and I aim to help clients develop both awareness and skills they can apply in daily life. I believe everyone has the capacity for resilience and positive change, no matter what challenges they face.
