About My Clients
I work with youth, adults, couples, and families. I help them address Issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, coping skills, anger management, marriage/family relationship concerns, men’s issues, post-traumatic stress/moral injury, and alcohol use. I specialize in gender/sexual identity, families with a transgender member.
My Background and Approach
I've been a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the North American Association of Christians in Social Work. I was formerly a faculty member at the University of Florida-Jacksonville School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry. I received my master’s and doctoral degrees in social welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. My approach is to meet individuals and families where they are and to integrate individuals’ faith and values into the treatment process.
