About My Clients
I work with adults who feel drained by constant stress, major life shifts, or the weight of carrying too much on their own. Whether you are dealing with workplace burnout, depression, anxiety, or unresolved trauma, you don't have to figure it out alone. My clients are thoughtful individuals seeking practical tools, deeper self-understanding, and real relief. Together, we will work at your pace to help you rebuild balance, resilience, and peace of mind.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, my path to social work grew from my own life experiences and a deep respect for the therapeutic process. I specialize in treating trauma, burnout, and depression using an integrative, evidence-based approach. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Therapy with me is never one-size-fits-all. We will go at your pace, focusing on identifying helpful patterns, building practical coping tools, and processing underlying distress so you can cultivate genuine resilience, self-compassion, and peace of mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is an inherently collaborative and non-judgmental space where you should feel empowered to set the priorities. My practice is explicitly LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, and dedicated to supporting individuals from all walks of life. I view mental healthcare through a person-centered, strengths-based lens—recognizing that systemic stress, societal expectations, and personal histories all shape how we navigate the world. Beyond clinical practice, I value lifelong learning, creative expression, and cultivating meaningful community connections. I strive to offer a space defined by genuine warmth, intellectual curiosity, and radical respect.
