About My Clients
I have a passion for working with gifted folks of all ages. My clients are individuals, families, and couples. I am part of the Queer community. I work with folks exploring their gender and sexuality. I have an transnational, intersectional feminist worldview. I am trauma-informed. I believe that all folks can heal, and I believe that all folks deserve the relief from the impact of trauma. In a world that makes certain bodies and identities unsafe, my office is a safe place.
My Background and Approach
I'm an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist. I'm also a certified personal trainer. I believe in order to heal, folks have to heal their whole selves. I teach folks about why their experiences show up in their lives, so they understand what is happening. I see the world through the lens of trauma: "what happened to a person, so how is that playing out in their life now?"
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a queer, fat femme. My practice is focused on providing inclusive services to folks of color, queer folks, and folks with bodies of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. I believe we all do better when we all do better.
