About My Clients

Most of my clients are smart, sensitive, and tired. They're the dependable ones — the people who get it done, hold it together, and quietly carry more than they should. From the outside, their lives look successful. Inside, they're anxious, exhausted, or numb in ways they can't quite name. Many come for help with anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, or old wounds that still shape how they show up. If that sounds like you, you're in good company here.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) — an evidence-based approach to getting to know the parts of yourself that have been working hard to protect you: the perfectionist, the inner critic, the part that performs, the part that's been quietly carrying old pain. IFS isn't about fixing you. It's about helping you build a relationship with yourself that doesn't require you to abandon any part of who you are. I integrate attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness when practical skills are useful, on a person-centered foundation. Sessions tend to feel collaborative, curious and at the pace that suits each individual client. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), path for people who haven't found enough relief through talk therapy alone. KAP is especially well-suited to treatment-resistant depression, trauma, anxiety.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe most of what we call "symptoms" started as adaptations — smart, protective responses to environments that asked too much of you. The anxiety that keeps you over-prepared, the perfectionism that earned you safety as a kid, the numbness that helped you survive hard seasons — those parts deserve respect, not removal. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical. You shouldn't have to perform mental health to be welcome here. Tears, laughter, swearing, silence, and the occasional "I don't know how to say this" all belong in the room. I believe healing happens in relationship. The work isn't only what we talk about — it's also what it feels like to be heard without judgment, week after week, by someone who genuinely cares how you are. And I believe people are more capable than they're often given credit for. My job isn't to fix you. It's to help you reconnect with the steadiness, curiosity, and self-trust that have been there all along.
