About My Clients
My primary client focus is females ages 13 and up that have experienced overwhelming life events and are seeking a safe place to heal. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including substance use, trauma, attachment disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and with families facing legal issues. Most of my experience involves working with clients who have experienced physical trauma, sexual trauma or emotional abuse.
My Background and Approach
I spent most of my career working in community mental health working with families in crisis. My professional experience includes working in the criminal justice field with the State of Georgia and most recently I have been working in community behavioral health with a wide range of concerns including substance use, trauma, attachment disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and families facing legal issues. I am committed to helping others without judgment grow through their struggles, heal from their pain, and move forward to where they want to be in life through a cognitive behavioral approach. I am also dedicated to providing a safe place to promote courage, acceptance, grace and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal journey is a part of why I chose to be a therapist. Through my journey I have learned how to handle my anxiety and heal from my past traumatic experiences. I believe everyone deserves a safe space without judgement to grow and heal from their pain. I support and meet every client where they are at in their lives.
