About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who senses that something isn’t right, even if they can’t name it yet. You might be navigating a relationship that has lost its footing, a transition you never expected, or the weight of past trauma that keeps showing up today. I especially love working with individuals and couples around intimacy and sexuality, anxiety, self-doubt, and military life, including deployment, reintegration, and identity shifts. My Background and Approach
I’m an LPC Associate with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, currently supervised by Dr. Audrey A. Futrell (License #69730), and a doctoral student in Psychology at Capella University. For you, that means care grounded in current research, not guesswork. Before counseling, I worked as an institutional parole officer and as a program coordinator supporting individuals and families through hard seasons. Those years taught me to stay steady with people in difficult moments, without judgment, whatever their background or story. As a dance instructor since 2015, I’ve also taught teens through adults, so I know how to make growth feel safe, encouraging, and doable. I blend CBT, EFT, Attachment-Based, and Trauma-Informed approaches, so your therapy fits you rather than the other way around. Whether you come alone or with a partner, you’ll be met with respect, warmth, and genuine care. Together we’ll meet your struggles with both compassion and honesty, at your own pace.
