About My Clients

Do you feel stuck in patterns of self-criticism and painful emotions? Are you navigating trauma and coping with difficulty sleeping and feeling disconnected from those around you? I help people struggling with intensely painful emotions break free of self-sabotage, so they can build a life worth living. I’ll help you create a life that feels richer than before. We’ll laugh, cry, and even rage together as you build a path forward that is grounded in science, compassion, and real talk.

My Background and Approach

I work from an acceptance and mindfulness lens with adults working on growth and healing from trauma, stress, and mood and anxiety issues. I combine science-backed tools and techniques with compassion, authenticity, and humor to create a space for people to explore and manage difficult emotions, build purpose, and discover empowerment on their healing journey. My areas of specialty include treatment of PTSD, trauma, panic, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am dedicated to creating a warm and inclusive environment for your healing and growth. It’s never too late to get help. I’ve worked with hundreds of people to help them lead new lives after struggling with difficult memories and emotions for decades.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a psychologist, I am deeply committed to fostering equity, inclusion, and healing in all aspects of my practice. I believe that mental health cannot be fully understood or addressed without acknowledging the profound impact of systemic inequality, including racism, poverty, and other forms of structural oppression. My work is grounded in a strong commitment to racial justice, and I strive to create a safe, affirming space for individuals from all backgrounds. I recognize that psychological distress often arises not only from individual experiences but also from broader societal forces, and I aim to empower clients while advocating for meaningful systemic change.
