About My Clients

Do you feel like you're always holding more than anyone realizes? Like you're the strong one, the cycle-breaker, but inside you're exhausted? Maybe your grief feels invisible, your culture misunderstood, or your queerness pushed to the side. I see how hard it is to carry it all. You shouldn’t have to keep pretending you're fine. Together, we’ll slow down, feel the weight, and start healing—without having to explain every part of who you are.

My Background and Approach

The tools I bring into session are ones I’ve gathered through years of lived experience, advanced training, and deep work with clients navigating trauma, grief, and complex family systems. My goal is to help you walk away with strategies that meet you where you are—tools for grounding, boundary-setting, emotional regulation, and reconnection with your body. I'm warm, honest, and collaborative. We’ll move at your pace while building practical support for what’s hurting right now. I integrate somatic and family systems approaches, helping you understand the deeper roots of overwhelm and how to shift old patterns. We'll explore how your body holds pain and how to listen to it with care. This work is layered—but you're not doing it alone.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is possible even when the pain feels too tangled to name. I don't believe anyone is "too much" or "too broken." I think we learn to survive in ways that make sense at the time—even if they hurt later. And if we learned it, we can unlearn it. I’ve lived through grief, chronic illness, and the ache of feeling like I didn’t quite belong anywhere. Through my own healing, I learned how powerful it is to be seen—fully, without needing to explain. That’s the space I offer you. I believe the body carries wisdom, and that real change begins when we learn to listen to it. I believe queer and culturally complex clients deserve therapy that reflects their full humanity. Also, I believe pozole is superior to soup in every way (but I won’t hold it against you if you disagree). I don’t discriminate, and I stand firmly with LGBTQ+, Indigenous, and historically excluded communities. If you're ready to be held in your wholeness, I’d love to walk with you.
