About My Clients
My clients come from all backgrounds, with their unique races and beautiful faces! We are all beauty and wonder and deserve to be celebrated. We are all Light. We are all One. We get discouraged and operate on lower frequencies when we are not celebrated & elevated symbiotically in our relationships w/ ourselves, our partners, families, cultures, globally, and/or environmentally. My clients are open and aware of their uniqueness and willing to discover how their healing can be their triumph.
My Background and Approach
By nature I see how the system effects the person, so some of the lenses I use to help you with insights and healing are cultivated from Family Systems Theories. I view creativity and curiosity as the catalyst to getting to know one's truest self, so I utilize my Drama Therapy experience and Creative Art Expressive Therapy, along with Experiential therapies to extract one's own elixirs. I have more than twenty years of experience working with persons of diverse populations and symptoms like addictions, eating disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses. I have helped families, couples, and individuals using the same compassionate care. I use experiential and evidence-based practices to support the whole person in body, mind, and spirit while creating a safe space for self expression and transformation. I hold two postgraduate degrees from Nova Southeastern University: Masters in Interdisciplinary Education with specialization in Drama Therapy and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we can make each other better with the right environment and support. We each can take small integral steps toward our desired outcomes and maintain them within a fruitful space. I believe in meeting you where you are at while attuning myself to the pace you are ready to heal at. During our journey together I can provide you with tangible ways to work through your traumas, fears, anxieties, and shame... I am here for the the part of your journey most may be repulsed by or confused by or not know how to handle. I offer a safe nonjudgmental zone for any darkness to arise, so you can learn to be with it and heal through it instead of flee from it. I believe that we all have darkness and lightness and together we can heal and shine brighter.
