About My Clients
I work with adults and adolescents (ages 12+) dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship patterns that keep repeating. Many clients aren't confused about what's wrong—they're frustrated it keeps happening. Whether you need a clear ADHD diagnostic answer, help managing overthinking and burnout, or couples work to break a stuck cycle, I offer structured, insight-driven care that balances understanding the pattern with building practical tools to change it.
My Background and Approach
I trained at Arizona State (DBH), Yale (MPH), and UC Berkeley (neuropsychological assessment). I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida, and I've spent the last 15 years working in outpatient therapy, integrated care, addiction treatment, and clinical evaluations. In individual work, I pull from CBT when people need concrete tools for thought patterns and coping, and from psychodynamic and depth work when repeating relational patterns or self-criticism are running the show. Most people get some of both. For couples, I use EFT and Gottman methods. Either way, we set goals together, check in on whether things are actually changing, and adjust when they're not. I also do ADHD evaluations (ages 12+), bariatric pre-surgical clearances, and disability and workplace evaluations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people don't get stuck because they're weak. They get stuck because a coping strategy that once helped has started to create new problems. Therapy is about recognizing those patterns, building tools to change them, and creating a plan that fits real life. I value directness, collaboration, and practical results.
