My specialties include navigating: anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, identity, sexuality, college and career, stress, life transitions, relationship dynamics, attachment, loneliness, and intergenerational trauma. I use client-centered and emotion-focused approaches to guide you within sessions. I also draw from your personal wisdom and strengths to help you build the necessary tools.
My Background and Approach
I understand that sharing your struggles with another person is vulnerable and trust takes time to build. I aim to provide you with a calm and compassionate space where you can fully express yourself. Whether you have specific goals you are wanting to work on or don’t know where to start, I am here to collaborate with you on a plan. I can assist you in finding ways to handle emotionally stressful situations, build internal safety, make meaning of your experiences, and build a stronger sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am Queer with a Mexican immigrant background. I am able to provide services bilingually in English and Spanish. I know from personal experience what it means to have guides in one’s life through tough times. My hope is you will feel comfortable bringing all of who you are into the work that we do together and allow me to be a guide in your healing journey.
