With nearly 15 years experience, I specialize in helping clients in a range of anxiety-based struggles using evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My approach is rooted in functional contextualism, meaning I focus on understanding your unique context and tailoring treatment to what works for you. I believe that emotional struggles often arise when we’re disconnected from our values or stuck in unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior. In our work together, we’ll address the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back. I’ll help you develop tools to embrace uncomfortable emotions without letting them control you, identify what truly matters to you, and take meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that growth is always possible for those who are willing to put in the effort. Emotional struggles often stem from being out of alignment with our values or personal identity, believing limiting thoughts, or engaging in unworkable behaviors. But the good news is that thoughts are just verbal habits our brains repeat—and habits can change. Emotions are signals from our bodies that tell us what we need: connection, validation, presence, or safety. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I deeply value creating a safe space where all identities are respected and celebrated. I believe in meeting clients where they are and building treatment plans collaboratively to support their goals. Anxiety isn’t something to eliminate—it’s a signal we can learn from. By embracing discomfort rather than avoiding it, we can reduce its power over us and create space for vibrant, value-driven lives.
